WHAKATANE AIRPORTWhakatane Airport is approx 50 minutes from Opotiki. Air Chathams offer daily scheduled flights between Auckland and Whakatane with a flight time of approximatley 45 minutes. Sunair offer same day return flights from Whakatane – Gisborne & Hamilton. Rental Cars can be made available from Whakatane Airport office and shuttle services are available by pre-booking.
